Meet Captain Lucas Mongelli

I am an adventurer, explorer, and lover of all the ocean has to offer. I am born and raised in Key West, Florida (A TRUE KEY WEST NATIVE).This is my paradise!

I have spent many years of my maritime career on adventures in the Caribbean. These destinations include: The Bahamas, Cuba, Turks & Caicos, The Dominican Republic, U.S. & British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts & Nevis, and more. For me, there is no place like home. I remember driving down the long chain of islands that make up the Florida Keys. I rolled down the windows in my single-cab, took a deep breath of the salt air, inhaled the smell of the low tide, and said, “I’m Home!”

My favorite places to explore are the beautiful islands and sandbars located in the “back country” waters of the Lower Keys. Away from the hustle and bustle of the famous “Duval Street watering holes” lies paradise. It only takes a minute, maybe two, to be over taken by a feeling that can only be described as “ISLAND DAZE!”
